The latest Greyhound Trader sale is scheduled to take place at Towcester racecourse on Wednesday 12th October 2022. A superb catalogue of unexposed youngsters has been put together by Nathan and James Corden with the very vast majority unraced and with a great number not even at this stage had an official trial on the card. With some top class operations represented at the sale and with breeding lines to match there will undoubtedly be some future open race winners and maybe even competition winners amongst them. Those with a keen eye may well end up purchasing a bargain that people will look back on asking how did we miss that one ? The sale welcomes the famous Droopys breeding establishment for the very first time with them well represented however there is superb strength in depth throughout. With sales trials due to begin at around 1015am to 1030am approximately those attending the track (bidding as usual also available online) are encouraged to get there early with breakfast available in the Cafe area of BAR4000. The auction will commence approximately 30 minutes after the final trial. Transport will be available after the sale however purchasers are reminded that all greyhounds must be collected on the day with no overnight kenneling available. Rapido Doll – unraced July 2021 daughter of Champagne Doll who amongst other top grade and open class types in her previous litters has produced Burgess Puma the multiple 4 and 6 bend open race winner here in the UK and of course finished third in the 2021 running of the prestigious George Ing St Leger at Yarmouth stadium behind the sensational Blue Tick George. Fully reared and schooled this bitch has all the makings of developing into a real nice type and with her bloodlines staying should eventually be no problem.
Kyero Slim – unraced August 2021 son of the superstar Premier Fantasy and out of the 2018 Irish Bitch Of The Year Vancouver. A sensation on the track during a career which saw Vancouver winning top opens at Thurles , Waterford , Cork and Shelbourne Park including when winning The Droopys Stud Night Of Stars Open Bitch 525 in 2018 she has since produced top grade and open class types in her first couple of litters including the rapidly improving Perfecto String who has been setting the track alight around Towcester in recent months with numerous eye catching performances in top grade and opens over both 2 and 4 bends. If early pace is what you’re after, then this young pup is bred for it and with him coming fully reared and schooled, he’s a dog who should provide his new connections with plenty of enjoyment over the next couple of years.
Epic Bolt – stunning unraced April 2021 son of Shehasitall who of course is a full sister to the likes of Cabra Hurricane the sensational early paced open performer who finished a magnificent career in Ireland with a top-class winning record of 19 wins from just 30 starts including the final of the 2018 running of the Longford Derby. Shehasitall produced All Is Good in her first litter to Good News who recently won in open class company at the first time of asking around Nottingham’s 305m sprint trip. The early pace from this stunning line is being passed down and this young pup looks another who should be winning plenty here in the UK.
Good Cooper – unraced May 2021 son of Clever Lass who has produced open class greyhounds in both of her first 2 litters. Cooper has been showing plenty of pace on the gallops and in schooling and is fully expected to develop into a real nice type. Hailing from the Kennedy operation this pup will have wanted for nothing and will be arriving with new connections in tip top shape.
Intensity – unraced July 2021 daughter of Broadstrand Bono and Follys View who is regularly producing a high ratio of top open and competition class performers in her litters. This lady has been very lightly schooled thus far as the Matthews family have been extremely busy in recent weeks with their coursing operation and thus, she and the others from the Newry Maestro’s set up will likely come on a significant amount over the next weeks and months. Could be absolutely anything.
Energy Crisis – unraced full brother to Intensity detailed above and very similar comments apply to this well-bred pup.
Up The Palace – unraced June 2021 son of 2019 Irish Derby Champion Lenson Bocko and Nitro Jen who competed in open class at Shelbourne Park. Super breeding and has been showing plenty of ability on the schooling track. With plenty yet to come looks like proving a shrewd purchase for her new connections with all of the hard work already done.
Miss Sweety – unraced May 2020 bitch out of a dam who has thrown some decent top grade early paced types in previous litters. Moderate enough trials to date but has shown enough to suggest she’ll win graded races here in the UK.
Rapido Pat – unraced June 2021 son of Pat C Sabbath and Lahinch Breakout a winner of 24 races in high grade around the tough Mullingar circuit. Breakout is a half-sister to the sensational UK open race greyhound Barricane Tiger who was a mightily impressive winner of The Coral Sussex Cup Final around Hove in 2016. This is the first litter of the ultra-tough and consistent Breakout and she appears to have passed on plenty of her ability to this youngster with him having crossed the finish line in 2949 in the sole trial on his card to date around Waterford.
Rapido Nora – unraced full sister to Lot 1 ‘Rapido Nora’ detailed above. Fully reared and schooled with stamina to burn in the bloodlines should make into a very nice type here in the UK.
Tommys Cruiser – unraced June 2021 son of Droopys Sim who is of course a daughter of Droopys Cyclone the producer of many open and competition class greyhounds including the likes of the superstar Droopys Verve (Dundalk International Winner 2018 , English Derby runner up 2018). Tommys Bolt from Sim’s maiden litter to Droopys Sydney is already an open class winner around Monmore Green. In just his second ever 4 bend trial Cruiser recorded 2902 around Cork marking him out very much as an open class performer in the making.
Tommys Chick – full sister to ‘Cruiser’ detailed above and has won both of the 2 trials on her card with ease. A wide margin Shelbourne Park trial victory was followed up with an eye catching 5 length victory in 2935 around Cork. Lots of improvement to come from this young lady and should be winning plenty of good class races here in England with brood prospects further down the line.
Miss Cooper – unraced full sister to Lot 4 ‘Good Cooper’ detailed above. Lovely looking black and white bitch who recorded 1681 in the only trial on her card over Clonmel’s 300-yard sprint trip. Promising lady who as a May 2021 whelp has many months of improvement still to come.
Epic Guy – stunning unraced blue pup by Ballymac Bolger and out of Jaytee Sahara. Just a February 2021 whelp he counts many open and competition class dogs and bitches amongst his half siblings with the likes of 2021 English Oaks Winner and superstar bitch Billys Diva and UK staying star Kishlawn Shakira (2021 Champion Stakes Finalist , 2022 Essex Vase Finalist) amongst many others being amongst the offspring of Sahara. This strapping 78lb pup won the only trial on his card in 1698 over Kilkenny’s 300-yard sprint trip. A real nice type who has been perfectly reared and schooled and looks set to prove a very shrewd purchase for new connections.
Transfusion – unraced July 2021 daughter of Droopys Sydney and Hop The Ball who doesn’t have a single official mark on her card and has so far been very lightly schooled by the Matthews team who have been extremely busy in recent weeks preparing for the coursing season. Hop The Ball a daughter of the super brood Toms Delight has produced some high-class sorts in her first couple of litters and this lady has been showing all the right signs at home in the paddocks and on the gallop with her early schooling also showing signs of extreme promise. Whatever this lady does on sales day there will be plenty yet to come.
Hot Novice – unraced full brother to Lot 15 ‘Transfusion’ detailed above and very similar comments apply to this stunning black and white youngster. He’s been showing all the right signs up until this point and again whatever he does today can only be improved upon in weeks to come. Will not be sold cheap but class never is and it comes as standard that this pup will have been reared to perfection by ‘The Newry Maestro’.
Kyero Doll – unraced full sister to Lot 2 ‘Kyero Slim’ detailed above. Super breeding and not a mark on this August 2021 pups’ card. Could be absolutely anything and has months and months of improvement left in the locker. Lightly schooled to data and should give new connections plenty of fun with all the hard work done.
Kyero Girl – full sister to Lot 2 & 15 detailed above. Again not a mark on her card and very similar comments apply.
Droopys Radar – unraced July 2021 son of the superstar Pestana. A sensation on the track Pestana is fast establishing himself as a stud dog of immense reputation with his desire , pace and ability shining through in his offspring. ‘Radar’ is out of the super brood Droopys Sylvia who has proven herself time and time again as a producer of ultra-high class open and competition class greyhounds. Her sons and daughters roll off the tongue like an A to Z of greyhound racing superstars , the likes of Droopys Trapper multiple category one finalist here in the UK along with his brother Droopys Trawler the 2018 Northern Puppy Derby Champion at Newcastle. ‘Radar’ a stunning blue dog doesn’t have a single mark on his card but heads to the sale with a lofty home reputation and looks like progressing into a very nice pup for his new connections from a breeding operation synonymous with producing quality year after year.
Droopys Polecat – unraced July 2021 son of King Sheeran the fantastic winner of the 2019 Produce Stakes and also The Olympic at Hove in the same year. His pups are only just starting to hit the track but they’re showing all the right signs. Dam Droopys Pickles has produced high class offspring in her first 2 litters and hails from the Droopys Hilda dam line. ‘Polecat’ has been showing plenty on the gallop at home but looks like he will doing nothing but improve over the winter months and make into a real nice type throughout 2023.
Kilbreedy Spice – unraced May 2021 daughter of Droopys Cain and Good Story who stopped the clock in a fantastic 2949 around Shelbourne Park in just the second trial on her card. Dam Good Story is of course a daughter of Precious Story the mother of many competition class greyhounds of a strong running nature including the likes of Antigua Fire and De Machine. A young bitch pup who should have no trouble staying in time and has everything needed to think she could well have brood prospects of her own once her racing career is over.
Kilbreedy Sue – unraced full sister to Lot 21 ‘Kilbreedy Spice’ detailed above. Just the 1 trial on her card where she couldn’t have been anymore impressive running out an 8-length victor of her sole rival around Newbridge in a decent 2972. Lots to like about this young lady and sure to prove a useful addition to any kennel.
Good Gift – unraced full sister to Lot 4 ‘Good Cooper’ and Lot 13 ‘Miss Cooper detailed above. A lovely looking white and blue bitch pup who recorded 1723 in the only trial on her card around Kilkenny’s 300-yard sprint trip. Exciting prospect and another from the Kennedy school of excellence.
Good Fella – unraced full brother to Lot 14 ‘Epic Guy’ who recorded 1672 when winning the only trial on his card by fully 7 lengths in 1672 around Kilkenny’s 300-yard trip. Weighing in at 80lb for that outing he is a strapping young lad who has many months of maturing still to do. Should be well suited by the bigger galloping circuits of the UK including today’s venue of Towcester and the likes of Sheffield , Nottingham , Central Park , Monmore etc.
Club Bands – unraced full brother to Lot 15 ‘Transfusion’ detailed above. Another from the Newry Maestro’s establishment and another sent over to today’s sale very lightly schooled due to the team there having to concentrate in recent weeks on the coursing side of their operation. Make no mistake this youngster has plenty of pace and has been showing huge potential at home. Could be anything and can only improve upon his sales trial no matter what he does.
Combination – unraced full sister to Lot 15 ‘Transfusion’ and Lot 25 ‘Club Bands’ detailed above. A very talented young pup and like her litter mates can only improve with each experience of the track she has in the coming weeks and months. Top prospect both the track and as a potential brood of the future.
Rapido Donna – unraced full sister to Lot 1 ‘Rapido Doll’ who like her sister should improve for age and experience. Bloodlines suggest she will have no trouble staying in time.
Rapido Sam – full brother to Lot 9 ‘Rapido Pat’ and comfortably accounted for his brother in the only trial on his card by 3 lengths when recording 2928 around Waterford. Looks a very exciting prospect who at the very least should be competing in the high grades at any track in England and at his age could develop into anything.
Droopys Pepper – unraced March 2021 son of the sensational Droopys Buick and out of Droopys Saab who was an open class performer on the track and has well proven herself to produce pups with pace to burn. Hailing from the revered Droopys Stud this pup will have been reared to perfection and will arrive with his new connections in fabulous shape and ready to set out on what could very well be a career at the very highest level of the sport. ‘Pepper’ is sure to attract plenty of attention from all those interested in adding a top-class pup prospect to their kennel.
Droopys Vigour – hugely exciting unraced March 2021 dog pup by the up-and-coming stud Malachi. On the track he was a 5-time winner from just 10 career starts however even during that limited time he reached the final of the Gold Cup at Shelbourne Park. His pups are beginning to hit the track in increasing numbers and hopes are extremely high that he can enjoy a prosperous stud career. Mother Droopys Saga had the pace to record 2808 on the track at Shelbourne Park and is most certainly passing that kind of pace off to her offspring. Skywalker Angie a member of Saga’s April 2019 litter to Laughil Blake is already a 6-time winner on the track including a phenomenal run of 2825 around Shelbourne Park in the second round of the Gold Cup earlier this year. ‘Vigour’ has been showing plenty at home and looks like becoming a regular performer on the open scene here in England.
Good Dancer – unraced February 2021 bitch pup by Belles Direction out of Priceless Dancer top grade winner over 4 bends at Shelbourne Park and 6 bend open race winner around Kilkenny. Well proven in the breeding paddocks with her pups regularly turning out to reach high grade and open class. Stamina should be no issue for Good Dancer and with a 2944 trial effort already on the card at Kilkenny she’s another well reared pup from the Kennedy set up who should have a successful track career before maybe embarking on a brood career of her own.
Good Wisdom – another member of the Ballymac Cooper x Clever Lass litter of May 2021 and another with huge potential on the track. This 80lb white and black dog stopped the clock in a sensational 2932 in what was so far the only trial of his life around Kilkenny. Fully expected to make open class and given his large frame should have many months of improvement still in the locker.
Kyero Jim – another member of the August 2021 litter of Premier Fantasy and Vancouver and being just a August 2021 whelp this white and black pup has limitless improvement still to come. Heads in to his sales trial without a single mark on his card this lad has been well reared and will arrive with his new connections in top shape and ready to move through the grades.

Moveitmolly – daughter of the leading stud dog in many years Droopys Sydney who time and time again is producing top class winners on the track. Being out of the well related UK open race bitch Cantcallherthat who was so versatile she had open race victories to her name over 4 , 6 and 8 bends. ‘Molly’ has just the 3 races on her card and has already recorded a highly promising 2947 around Dundalk. Sure to compete in the higher grades at any track here in England.
Truly Special – just the 4 races on this young lady’s card. A full sister to ‘Molly’ detailed above she came through the pack to win pulling away in 2927 around Dundalk on just her second career start. Strong runner who could well emulate her mother in staying further with age and looks sure to win plenty for new connections over a variety of trips.
Tommys Local – unraced member of the June 2021 litter of Out Of Ranger and Droopys Sim who has already recorded 2994 in the sole trial on his card. Looks sure to progress through the grades quickly and looks just the type to land new connections a touch or two along the way.
Tommys Business – unraced full brother to ‘Local’ detailed above and in just his second ever trial he scorched around Cork in 2946 when winning a 2-dog trial by fully 7 lengths. Highly rated sort who will be winning plenty of good class races here in England.
Kilbreedy Ted – by Droopys Sydney out of Jaytee Sapphire an open race winner on the track and has thrown plenty of pace in her first 2 litters. ‘Ted’ has just the 2 races on his card showing promise in both a sprint and a 4-bend race around Newbridge when clocking 2928 despite being unlucky in running. Would be just a matter of time before he broke the 29 second barrier in Ireland which bodes well for a successful career here in England.
Kilbreedy Jane – strong running unraced May 2021 daughter of Droopys Cain and Good Story. ‘Jane’ has just the 3 trials on her card and in the last of those posted 2943 around Shelbourne Park when running out a wide margin winner of her 2-dog trial. Looks set to make it into a very nice type and if staying with age as he breeding suggests she might well do she could turn out to be absolutely anything.
Rapido Willow – unraced July 2021 brindle bitch by Sparta Maestro and out of Muchas Gracias who is well proven to throw plenty of pace in her litters with her already having thrown the category one 2022 Springbok finalist Bobbing Knavatar.
Crucial Start – unraced June 2021 son of Dorotas Wildcat and out of Crucial Shiner a 2-time open novice winner around Newbridge. Well reared and schooled and ready to move through the UK graded system for his new connections.
Rattling Jen – another member of the June 2021 litter of Irish Derby Champion of 2019 Lenson Bocko and out of Nitro Jen. Plenty to come from this young lady and should more than pay her way for her new kennel here in England.

Tommys Freedom – unraced June 2021 bitch from the Out Of Ranger x Droopys Sim litter. 2 trials on her card including 2998 around Shelbourne Park when winning the first trial of her life by a wide margin.
Tommys Arcade – another unraced member of the June 2021 Out Of Ranger x Droopys Sim litter and this young dog has just the 1 mark on his card being 3044 around Clonmel. Should come on bundles over the next few runs.
Kilbreedy Cain – not a mark on this young dog pups’ card. Bred to stay tough tests of stamina being from the Droopys Cain x Good Story litter of May 2021.
Kyero Canary – raw baby being just an August 2021 dog pup from the Premier Fantasy x Vancouver litter. Nice young pup with all the hard work done.

Droopys Rubican – hailing from the fabulous Droopys Stud breeding establishment where champions are made this young lady is just an August 2021 whelp. Stunning white and blue girl she’s a daughter of Out Of Range and Droopys Natalia so is bred to be pacey and if her homework is anything to go by she most certainly is.
Wazza The Ram – unraced July 2021 son of Magical Bale and Millabbey Thelma who was an open race winner at Hove and closely related to some very nice types including her younger half brother Man Twenty One. Won the first and so far only trial of his life in 3071 around Waterford by 3 lengths from his sole rival.
Cisco Kid – unraced November 2020 son of Ballymac Best and Follys View. Weighed in at a huge 83lb for the only trial on his card and despite being in need of the experience still managed to stop the clock in a sensational 2887. No doubts at all an open class prospect of the very highest order.
Full Approval – unraced January 2021 son of Good News out of the maiden litter of Slippery Jade an open race winner over both 4 and 6 bends. Just the one sprint trial on his card around Waterford and can only improve for experience and fitness. Nice type on breeding who should win plenty once he gets himself up to full speed.
