Sure to throw up a whole host of high class winners the sale is previewed in full below by Mark Pierrepont –
Duggee Dodo (ex – Jumeirah Chris) – not too many Top Honcho offspring around these days but this lad is really doing his legendary father proud.  A 6-time winner from just 15 career races to date with each of those coming in open class.  A novice open win over an inadequate but educational 480m at Galway was followed by 4 wins over the 575m trip at Romford where Dodo showed himself equally at home from near the front of the pack and from coming from way off the pace.  A real nice greyhound with a terrific will to win who showcased that there is plenty yet to come and many options available when running a storming race from last to first on what was his first effort over a true six bend trip when tackling the 630m distance.  From a draw much wider than ideal out in trap 6 he made his way to a position nearer the rail before manoeuvring himself through the field to get up close home and win pulling away.  At just 2 1/2 years of age this greyhound like many staying types will only just be coming into his own and his new owners will have a runner ready to enter into some of the major staying competitions in the months ahead.
Ritzy Rapid (ex – Saunders Impact) – rapid early paced wide runner who is already a 6-time winner from just 23 career starts.  A top grade and maiden open class winner at Romford over 400m this lad only reached 2yo in February and should continue to strengthen up over the summer months.  A proven winner off the front and even coming from a little further back he’s a nice type for any kennel wishing to tackle the open race scene especially over the shorter four bend trips.  Looks like he could be tailor made for the likes of Oxford upon its re-opening.
Droopys Sputnik – another for the open racing scene.  A very pacey greyhound with top class form over a variety of trips.  Won his novice open at Ireland’s premier greyhound track Shelbourne Park and followed that up with a sensational 2821 victory at the same venue that had many track regulars sitting up and taking notice.  Sputnik then went on to win heat and final of The O’Leary’s Driving School 575 at Cork.  Moving across to England not long after he’s since run a host of impressive races in open class but the most impressive came when making light work of the opposition in a 682m open at Swindon and beating off his nearest rival by fully 9 lengths.  This is a serious greyhound for the staying scene and he looks sure to attract the attention of many who will be keen to add this talented sort to their kennel.
Tip Top Rachael – lovely young wide running bitch who has not long turned 2yo.  Just 9 races on her card and a winner of 3 of those.  Victory in the All Pet Supplies Semi Final at Enniscorthy secured her a place in the final the following week and though beaten in that she was very much far from disgraced.  After arriving in the UK Rachael posted a series of trials at Towcester which suggested she shouldn’t be long in making her mark and that first win here duly came in her very first race when comfortably accounting for good class A5 opposition by 3 lengths.  Despite being upgraded to A4 on her last couple of starts Rachael has shown up well with a huge amount of early pace only to be found wanting in the final strides.  A slightly less demanding trip than Towcester’s 500m should be perfect with Rachael sure to race in very high grade at any track with a four-bend distance up to 480m.  Oxford upon its re-opening should be absolutely perfect for this talented lady.
Cushie Concorde – competition class greyhound of the very highest calibre.  A son of Cushie Jet and Tree Tops Beauty he is a 3-time race winner from just 12 career starts.  Set the track alight at Enniscorthy in mid April when running out a 14-length winner of a decent open and setting a new track record time of 2838 on a track which was officially rated 20 slow.  Reached the second round of the English Derby at Towcester before being unluckily eliminated however has since shown himself to be in good form with a stunning 2866 heat win in the prestigious Tipperary Cup at Thurles.  A greyhound who will go straight into the highest class here in England taking on and being capable of beating the very best open greyhounds in training.  Greyhounds like this don’t become available too often.
Burgess Josie – no other way to describe Josie other than as an exceptional talent.  Doesn’t reach 2yo until August and already a winner of 4 of her 15 career races and doing it at the highest level.  Josie took a huge step forward when landing her semi final of the Epic Hero Limerick Oaks in a fabulous 2843 and went on to win the final in good style a week later at odds of 4/6.  Just a week later Josie lined up in the first round of The Oaks at Shelbourne Park.  Showing scintillating pace from the get go Josie scorched her way around the track in 2829.  It was a run which showed Josie to be one of the fastest ladies currently in training.  Any kennel hoping to take part in the big bitches’ events this year and next should be paying close attention to this lady with her ability not in question.  Sure to prove to be a valuable brood once her racing career is over too.
Its My Bucks – with 2 wins on his card from just 7 career starts this lad has the whole of his career ahead of him.  Only just 2yo this month he’s a very pacey sort who has already landed a top-grade event at Limerick.  Will be well suited by sprints and short four bend trips where he will compete in top grade and open class.  Sure to win plenty here in the UK for his new connections and definitely one for those who like to get their money in front at the early stage of proceedings.
Kanturk Dave – raw July 2020 youngster who backed up the promise shown when finishing runner up on career debut by firstly destroying A2 opposition at Limerick next time out by fully 6 lengths in 2883 the stepping forward again with a 3-length victory in top grade A1 at the same venue in 2874.  Scorching early and middle pace and see’s out the four bends well.  An open class greyhound who will be well suited by most tracks here in the UK.
Dubh Gasta (ex – Glengar Doc) – July 2020 youngster who is one for the sprinting scene and shorter four bend trips here in the UK.  Phenomenal early pace but doesn’t quite see out the 525-yard trip.  Despite this still managed to record 2890 at Tralee when winning there in March.  Just the 7 races on his card and already a 2-time winner.  Plenty of races to be won with Gasta and another who could be well suited by the challenge of Oxford in the very near future.
Ballymac Frisby – unraced June 2021 dog put by the strong running stud dog Vulturi.  Dam Jamaica Joy has already been well proven with her first litter to Ballymac Anton winning plenty of races between them.  They include Ballymac Tido who has already in his short career won a very high class A1 at Newcastle and has recently made his six-bend debut in open class.  Frisby recorded 2973 around Tralee in what was the sole mark currently on his card and this came after missing the break by many lengths.  His future is no doubt over the tough four bend trips and quite possibly beyond.  Reared and schooled to perfection at the famous Ballymac kennels Frisby looks another exciting type with the whole of his career yet to come.
Ballymac Allaby – June 2021 bitch pup from the maiden litter of Ballymac Cabra and by top stud Ballymac Bolger.  Cabra was a top-grade performer around Tralee and a real pacey lady.  Allaby left many lengths at the start in the only trial on her card but still managed to record 3022 around Tralee.  A good run from a young bitch pup who should do nothing but improve for many months to come.  Reared and schooled to perfection and will prove to be a valuable addition to any kennel in the UK.
Ballymac Tabia – stunning black and white April 2021 bitch pup with the world at her feet.  Despite being slowly away from traps and showing obvious signs of greenness Tabia still managed to record an excellent 2970 around Tralee when winning the sole trial on her card by fully 4 lengths and pulling away from her rival.  Dam Killeacle Tammy is a proven producer of competition class greyhounds with the likes of Killeacle Gus winner of many opens around Hove and third in the 2020 renewal of the Sussex Cup being thrown in previous litters.  If you’re in the market for a young unraced bitch pup with the potential to go on to become very special then this is the lady for you.  Unlimited potential from a brood who has already proven that she can throw pace.
Ballymac Cyrus – June 2021 bitch pup by one of the most talked about up-and-coming sires of recent times Ballymac Cashout.  Rated by Liam Dowling as one of the fastest greyhounds he’s ever produced injury robbed him of the chance to showcase his talents over any prolonged period of time on the track at least.  Liam has always held a firm belief that Cashout will go on to produce classy pups and this is your chance to buy into his offspring.  Cyrus of course is a daughter of Ballymac Garden who is well proven having thrown Ballymac Miranda in her debut litter to Ballymac Matt.  Miranda of course a lady of huge pace who made the final of The Greyhound & Petworld Supersprint at Cork this year having run out a massively impressive winner of her semi-final.  Miranda then went on to reach the final of The Sporting Press Oaks at Shelbourne Park.  Taken to Tralee early in July for the first trial of her life Cyrus left many lengths on the track but still recorded 3022.  This is a bitch who should win plenty of races but with her breeding lines could easily go on to become a brood of the future.
Devon Sapphire – what a stunning looking pup this lad is.  Lovely white and blue markings and has the pace to match his looks.  Just 6 races on his card Sapphire is already a 2893 winner around Tralee and being a wide runner will more often than not get his draw.  By Ballymac Bolger and out of Devon Honey who of course produced the sensational early paced Luna Rocket who put up some memorable performances in the 2021 running of the English Derby.  Fantastic breeding and a greyhound who should be winning plenty in top grade if indeed not better.
Kilbreedy Jane – unraced May 2021 bitch pup with nice potential having recorded 2984 around Newbridge in the sole trial on her card.  A daughter of Droopys Cain and Good Story who of course is a daughter of the competition class producing dam Precious Story.  The cross is already proven perfectly with Precious Story having produced the likes of De Machine (Irish Champion Stakes Winner 2021) in her litter to Cain.  A fantastic opportunity to purchase a young bitch who could be anything on the track but has the breeding lines to suggest she could well throw champion pups of her own in the future.
Kilbreedy Spice – full sister to Jane detailed above with the same comments applying.  Recorded a time just 1 spot slower than Jane in the sole trial on her card which backed up what they’d shown in schooling to suggest that there is little between this promising pair of sisters.
Solid Bae – just 8 races on the card of this April 2020 bitch and having shown signs of inexperience in the first 6 of those the penny has really dropped to see her winning the last 2 well.  Coming from off the pace to win in 2914 around Limerick 2 runs ago the penny dropped in no uncertain terms when she flew the lid to lead all the way on her last start recording a fabulous 2879 again around Limerick.  Dam Locnamon Bridie is a well proven producer of open class offspring and Bae looks another who without any doubt should be competing in top grade but a few wins in reasonable class opens would be far from unachievable.
Kippers Story – August 2020 dog pup with just 2 races on the card and a winner last time out in 2921.  The run was a big step forward for a greyhound who found that the addition of a few pound in weight aided him greatly.  There is so much to come from this son of Rising Brandy and Jumeirah Sherry and it’s difficult to say just how far he could go.  With a few runs under his belt he could improve massively and at his likely price he could turn out to be a real bargain for new connections.  Looks just the type to land his new owners a nice touch or two in the early stages of his career.
Monster Hulk – a really solid young greyhound with a nice touch of versatility about him.  Moved through the grades nicely in Ireland winning 4 of his 13 starts to date and reached as high as A1 class at Newbridge.  Well capable of running his race from any trap , shows the battling qualities required to win from off the pace and has shown himself extremely adaptable for such a young dog with wins already at Newbridge , Galway and Shelbourne Park.  This is a dog who will be a real decent top-grade performer at any track here in the UK with the galloping circuits sure to play ideally to his strengths.
Good Quest – four time winner around Towcester including a sensational A2 victory just a couple of weeks ago in 29.93.  Followed that up finishing runner up in A2 on his next start.  Will be top grade at any other track in the UK and not beyond him to win a maiden or small open.  Solid greyhound with a great attitude to racing.
Ballymac Wild x Ballymac Petula dog and bitch pairing of 8-week-old pups.  Fantastic opportunity to get involved in a nicely bred pair of pups sired by the iron greyhound Ballymac Wild who time and time again proved himself to be a competition greyhound of the very highest calibre.  Petula is an unraced full sister to Maries Wedding 2799 Shelbourne Park and runner up in the Puppy Oaks , purchased solely for breeding coming from a dam line that produces champions time after time.  Pups as with all at the Ballymac set up done to absolute perfection.
