Hall Green are disputing the assertion in a previous story that they will potentially lose points as the result of the positive sample from one of their greyhounds in the recent BAGS/SIS Track Championship heat at Monmore.
Without preempting the official GBGB inquiry, Hall Green team captain Craig Grove is adamant that there are no grounds to dock the points.
He said: “There is nothing in the rules to cover it. As far as we are concerned, the points were won on the afternoon and should not be taken away.”
