With tracks scrabbling for decent quality open race entries, Crayford have upped the ante with the announcement of a new series of enhanced prize money competitions.
Racing manager Danny Rayment said: “Starting with our already advertised Ladbrokes.com Dual Distance Trophy on Saturday June 27th we will be staging fortnightly competitions over various distances worth £1000 to the winner through the summer months.
“These will replace the current £500 weekly contests and we will continue to stage various one-off varied opens supporting the main
events. This continues our policy of providing very competitive open race prize money to match our industry leading graded prize money.”
