For the first time ever, the Ladbrokes Gold Cup was undersubscribed. The planned 36 runner event fell six short and the first round will be for six five-runner heats.
Despite the lack of quantity there is no shortage of quality with entries including King Elvis, King Turbo, Droopys Hooligan and Bubbly Bluebird all heading to Monmore on Thursday.
The draw is due to be show live on the GBGB website at 1pm
