The Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) is gearing up to host its annual celebration of the stars of the sport, the Greyhound of the Year of Awards. The event is returning to the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Sunday 15th May 2022.
The Award ceremony will celebrate the racing highlights of 2021 and the phenomenal performances of the sport’s top athletes. It is also an opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of the trainers, owners and kennelhands who care for their greyhounds and ensure they have everything they need to perform at their very best.
The 2021 Award Categories are: Best Dam of British Bred, Bitch, British Bred, Graded, Hurdler, Marathon Performer, Newcomer, Sprinter, Standard Distance Performer, Stayer, Kennelhand, Trainer and Owner of the Year.
Tickets are priced at £110 each, which includes a drinks reception, a three-course meal with wine and entertainment until late. GBGB is offering a reduced rate for bookings of full tables of ten for £990.
