At today’s meeting of the GBGB board of directors, Ricky Holloway was asked to either justify or withdraw certain comments attributed to him in the Racing Post and elsewhere, as raised in a letter from the chairman to him prior to the issuance of today’s agenda.
Mr Holloway was unable to provide an explanation of his comments that satisfied the Board that he was fulfilling his fiduciary duties as a director.
Accordingly, Mr Holloway was informed that the Board was issuing him formal notification that a resolution to remove him as a director would be tabled at the next Board meeting, scheduled for January 28th, 2016.
This notification will also be sent in writing, along with a further invitation to Mr Holloway to explain his actions. In the meantime, Mr Holloway remains a director of the GBGB.
