Romford Stadium – Ebony Scolari
Professional Trainer Mrs Yvonne Gaskin admitted breaches of rules 152(i), 174(i)(b),214 and 217 of GBGB Rules of Racing, in that urine sample taken from the greyhound EBONY SCOLARI at Romford Stadium on 11th April 2018 was analysed by the forensic laboratory, LGC, which identified the presence of pentobarbital
Based on the scientific evidence available, the disciplinary committee considered this a no fault finding and for no further action to be taken.
Perry Barr Stadium – Sinister Blue
Professional Trainer Mr James Turner admitted breaches of rules 152(i), 174(i)(b) and 217 of the GBGB Rules of Racing, in that a urine sample taken from the greyhound SINISTER BLUE at Perry Barr Stadium on 31 March 2018 was analysed by the forensic laboratory, LGC, which identified the presence of ketoprofen.
The disciplinary committee ordered that Mr James Turner be cautioned and fined the sum of £250.
Belle Vue Stadium – Kind Regards
Registered Sales Agent Mr Ross Myles was found in breach of rules 152(i), 174(i)(b and 217 of the GBGB Rules of Racing, in that a urine sample taken from the greyhound KIND REGARDS at Belle Vue Stadium on 25th September 2017 was analysed by the forensic laboratory, LGC, which identified the presence of procaine.
The disciplinary committee ordered that Mr Ross Myles be severely reprimanded and fined the sum of £1,000.
Licence Application – Mr Lance Taylorson
The disciplinary committee were asked to determine under Rule 4A(i)(b) whether Mr Lance Taylorson is considered a fit and proper person to hold a Professional Trainer’s Licence under GBGB Rules of Racing.
Having considered the licence application, supporting schedules (including industry references), previous breaches of GBGB rules, and objections to a licence being granted, the disciplinary committee deemed Mr Lance Taylorson to be a fit and proper person to hold a GBGB training licence but on condition for a period of two years.
