Results from Thursday’s DC hearings:

 

  • Professional Trainer, Mr A Woodman, was disqualified for 6 months and fined £500 following for a breach of rules 152(i) & (ii), 174(i)(a) and 217 of the GBGB Rules of Racing following the positive analysis of a urine sample taken from the greyhound ARCHATON TREND at Henlow stadium on 26th October 2014. The urine sample was analysed by LGC Health Sciences which identified the presence of benzoylecgonine, the major metabolite of cocaine.
  • Greyhound Trainer, Miss Christine Parker, was cautioned and fined the sum of £250 for a breach of rule 152(ii) of the GBGB Rules of Racing. The Disciplinary Committee found that Miss Parker had acted in an ill-advised way by posting inappropriate photographic images on the social networking site Facebook.
