Fweshfromthesesh (David Bale-Lissigiveen Joy, Jul 15) trained by young handler Alfie Herbert was the star of Wednesday’s trial session at Towcester.
The youngster, who has won five of his seven races to date, clocked a track record equalling 29.04 for Towcester’s 500m course.
Bought unraced in Ireland with litter brother Farfromfwesh, the black was a first runner for a handler who earns his living in roadworks. He recorded a very fast 5.14 sectional as is a rare wide seed.
The quality of run compares favourably with the times recorded by a number of established open stars at the same session, most notably Bubbly Bluebird (29.11)
