Romford received the requisite 36 entries for the Coronation Cup and 43 for the Golden Sprint – both sponsored by Corals – for the first round which takes place on Friday.
The six bend Coronation Cup, previously a Cat Two event, has seen its win prize money doubled and moved forward in the year as perent company Entain continue their popular ‘double-header’ by running it alongside the Golden Sprint for the first time.
Among the more interesting entries in the four bend event is Sprinter of the Year Gougane Jet, back over four bends after eight months dominating over two. As for the Coronation Cup – check out heat three! Worth the admission price on its own.
