We are planning to ‘rest’ the Tipsters Challenge for October, with plenty going on in the Derby, but it has proved hugely popular and will be back.
One positive is that the Newcastle Trio have only one more meeting to embarrass themselves after all three failed to tip a winner between them – agaiiiiiiiiiin. At this stage they are surely defying the laws of mathematics and statistics? 3 x -£100.
The Perry Barr month is over. Top dog with a profit of £138.70 was Paul Gebhard. Robert Short finished second with a £45 profit. Karen Prince finished with a £79.50 loss
NOTTINGHAM
On the Big Lad in front on the month – but two bad nights would sink him. The other pair are marginally in the red, but certainly not done for.

Molly The Kid (R3 T3) Probably still a couple of weeks away from her post season peak but should still be right enough to win this race tonight. Paced up well to the bend last time out but blew her chance running the first terribly. Stuck on well enough to beat half of this field still and with that run under her belt and with little to stop her leading clear here will take all the beating £30 win
Elite Star (R9 T5) By far the most unexposed greyhound in this field and will be well suited by the step back to 480m tonight. Will have to be lively at the lids , clear the middle pair inside her quickly but from there on in should be away and gone £30 win
Hopalong Eleni (R10 T2) Straight forward enough assignment, good break and all over £30 win £10 treble

Weston Johnny (R1 T3) Very green pup but has plenty in hand when it clicks into place. Take a chance that he’s learned enough in his recent trials where plenty has been left on the track to take this A6 before moving onto better things. Keep him in your notebooks though as he’ll be progressing through the grades at a rapid rate of knots over the coming weeks £50 win
Swift Broom (R6 T6) Phil Wilson’s dog should pick these up , do ten press ups on the run in and still win by four lengths at least. Has 11 lengths to make up on the front dog House Of Gold but if that were starting at half way you’d still be looking for something to beat it. Rest of them are no great shakes. Certainty to be between the two back markers but at the prices go with Broom but wouldn’t put people off a reverse forecast the back two £50 win

Young Henry (R7 T2) – Paul Braithwaite’s young dog is an improving type , should get first run on these and hold all comers £50 win
Cloheena Woody (R8 T1) – Unlucky loser last time out in my opinion, can win snuggly here £50 win
ROMFORD
The last attempt of the month for the Romford trio. Rain Man looks home and hosed. But the stakes are bigger than that for Nathan Hunt, he could finish worse than fellow Taff, Robert Short at Perry Barr!

Ballymac Micko (R10 T6) Sort of dog you will never go wrong backing will always give you a run. Six isn’t his ideal box but everything is moving left and he will have plenty of space He loves Romford and is a very classy sort and I think he’s currently over priced to win the Guys and Dolls Final £100 win

Nathan Hunt
Droopys Aiofe (R9 T3) Looked back to her best last week and should reproduce. £40 win
Zascandil (R11 T4) should go clear tonight and will prove too much to reel in. £40 win £20 double.

Tiffield Maximus (R8 T1) Ran well to reach the Champion Stakes Final. Like the look of his draw in here. £50 win
Aayamza Royale (R11 T3) Think she will improve for the run last week and looks good value at 4-1
