Hold the front page – five losing tipsters last night. No – the big shock is that one of them wasn’t at Newcastle. No honestly – check the results!
So the Roll of Shame. Skulking home from Perry Barr, Paul Hepden, Karen Prince, Robert Short.
“You were crap”. “No you were crap”. “I wasn’t as crap as you” “Check the results ROBERT, you were as crap as me. But worse” “Well you were crap last week too” (followed by a Welsh expletive).
Newcastle have exhausted my book of ‘Really Crap Tipster Jokes’. Geordie Jimmy Fenwick – loser! Steve -£100 Anderson (the clue is in the title) – loser. But much to everyone’s surprise, Fife’s greatest export, Jock Jimmy Wright came good with a £62.50 profit. Now in the grand scheme, it is a bit like having your house repossessed and trying to bribe the baliff with a fiver.
But if your hear someone whistling ‘Braveheart’ this week . . . .

ROMFORD
Follow the ‘Rain Man’ Gander. By some strange Welsh wizardry, Nathan is in front this month too!! They’ll be singing in the valleys. With Wallis hacking his way out of some bunker (between us – he’s no loss), we welcome back Craig Morris. We don’t remember how he did on his last Challenge – and he would probably prefer that we don’t check

We have four runners this evening and in the opener we welcome back Grays Cup Winner who won the puppy cup back in 2018. It’s his first 4 bend since November last year so I’d expect him to need the run so will be just a watching brief for me tonight although we have kept him fit and I’d love to see him win.
Teaboy Russet comes back to Romford after a couple of away trips to Central Park he’s a little further out than I’d like.
Our Boy Seamus (R4 T6) couldn’t quite get the bend in last weeks Puppy Cup semi final and he’s a dog who needs to dominate early to have a chance. I fancy him to do just that this evening and I’ll go £50 win.
Roxholme Irene runs in the ‘Dolls’ final for us and looks well housed in five. It’s a tremendous bitches final and hopefully she can show her best break to get into the top three qualifying places – I still don’t think we’ve seen her put it all together yet.
My last selection goes in the Puppy Cup final. I was undecided on Tenpin (T1) who I think will run a big race on the inside. But I just sided with the dog who beat him in last weeks semi final – Lightfoot Ripley (R10 T4). I think a middle draw will suit better after moving out from one last week. 5/1 seems a very fair price. £50 win.
Best of luck to all connections and again a thank you to Corals for putting up some fantastic prize money and supporting the major competitions.
