The Ricky Holloway trained black, who has 28.68 form the track’s 480m flat course made it two wins from two over the sticks. His winning time was 29.80 (-60).
At least as impressive though, given the going allowance of (-60) was 29.09 flat winner King Kid (Droopys Solari-Shaws Dilemma, Dec 14). In what turned out to be a family affair Kid reversed the form from the 2016 Puppy Derby Final at Wimbledon when beating brother, and 500m record holder, King Eden, by four and a bit lengths.
