Iceman Frank, who joined Charlie Lister’s team at the back end of last year, made a bright start to 2015 and that continued at Sheffield on Tuesday writes John Forbes.
The November 2012 son of Crash and Shanless Carol clocked up a quick double at Nottingham last month and he was in top form on his first visit to South Yorkshire, taking up the running at the halfway mark and racing on strongly to account for former a former Lister charge, Hather George who was making his debut for Stephen Laybourn’s kennel, in 28.97 for the 500 metres.
Clearly one that is going very much in the right direction, it will be interesting to see what route his shrewd handler opts to take to further his development.
