Fire Height Amy finally mastered Harolds Cross when landing her semi-final of the Gain Dog Food Corn Cuchulainn over 750 yards.
The Barrys Tea winner, who had suffered costly defeats in the opening two rounds, was greatly helped by this being a four runner qualifier and she tracked the pace-maker Karlow Master through the opening bends.
Brendan Maunsell’s bitch checked behind the leader at the third turn but got back on an even keel to come through strongly at the penultimate turn and went on to score by a length in 42.07sec.
Ballymac Bonnie made it a double for favourites when landing the second qualifier.
Liam Dowling’s bitch was stone last as the pace was cut out by Uncle Paul. However she came storming though at the last turn to eventually score a four and a half length victory over Whaoo Wheoo in 42.18sec.
