Liz McNair’s Diego Flight clocked the fastest time in Wimbledon’s Friday night’s pre-race trial session with a 28.48 (480m) victory over kennelmate King Danni. It was Flight’s personal best over course and distance bettering his previous 28.60.
In an earlier trial, reigning Derby champ Salad Dodger recorded 28.56; he won last year’s final in 28.38.
Coolemore Joe clocked the night’s other significant time when stopping the clock at 28.59.
