The October RGOA Dog of the month was Rough Warden (Droopys Ward-Rough Dilemma, Sep 15). Owned by Mr R Swaby and trained by David Mullins, the black completed an unbeaten four timer in the month – to go with an October and an early November victory for a straight-six. He improved 50 spots when going from an A7 to A1 victories.
The October RGOA Bitch of the month was jointly won by Chopchop Hope (Ballymac Vic-Auntie, Jul 15) and Chopchop Lady (Zero Ten-Rosies Hen, Oct 15). The pair were trained by Yvonne Gaskin and owned by CJM Racing.
Hope won all four outings over a combination of two and four bends – all opens – and continued the run upto six in early November. Lady picked up a 444-1 four timer – all in open class company.
Hattrick awards for the month were won by Jumeirah Georgia, Courts Ad Peter, ChopChop Lady (4 timer), ChopChop Hope (4 timer), Rough Warden (4 timer), Newlawn Tracker & Ardrahan Scamp.
The presentation will take place at the RGOA Members Trophy Night taking place in December.
