Sheriff Woody (Bubbly Phoenix-Millwards Rose, Apr 14) owned by Mrs S Bowmer and trained by Paul Young was Romford’s Dog of the Month for March.
The white and black pup won all four of his races – A5 through to A2 setting a new personal best of 24.24 for the 400 metres.
The female winner of the monthly award was one of the youngest greyhounds on the strength. Brookside Lady (Razldazl Jayfkay-Blue Renard, Oct 14) went to traps on four occasions for owner Mr RA Vickers and trainer Dave Mullins. She produced three wins (A7, A6, A5) and a third including a personal best of 24.39 for the standard.
