A most productive week with 13 additions to the chart with Central Park being particularly productive. Special sprinter Queen Anna chipped away at her own personal best in the Silver Salver with litter brother King Elvis, running almost 200 metres short of his optimal, just five spots slower.
Piemans Bullet showed what might have been in the Springbok, while Magical Vera joined brother Magical Icarus on the chart. On a night where the track was running .10 slow for the standard, there was an excellent 28.80 run by Ballymac Osby, who is a half brother to Kent Derby winner Bockos Alfie.
The pick of the form though goes to Droopys Cannon with a 23.14 run for Crayford’s 380 metre flat course.
Offspring of Droopys Loner have completed dominated the FOY charts at Crayford for four and six bends for the last couple of years and Cannon – who bettered half sister Droopys Charm’s 23.19 – is just 18 months old, and was contesting only his third race.
