Farloe Blitz remained unbeaten in the Greyhound & Pet world / Odds On Supersprint with a sensational victory in Saturday’s semi-finals over 330 yards.
Owen McKenna’s runner was soon clear and with plenty of trouble on the turn, he came home over ten lengths clear of Burnt Le Bec in a fast 17.43sec.
Crown Champ was the hot favourite for the second eliminator but slept in traps and was well behind on the run up.
Meanwhile Tubs Astral took a flyer from six and made all to beat Boozed Tony by four and a half lengths in 17.76sec. The favourite somehow managed to qualify for next week’s final in third.
