Irish Derby finalist Emers Superstar makes his reappearance in the Thurles Fresh Milk Tipperary Cup over 525 yards at Thurles.

Gerry Holian’s runner is up again Tynwald Rodney, who had clocked the fastest time in the heats of the Scottish Derby; however he has been trialling well and can get first run.

Holian can have a double with Curious Boy, who landed the recent Kerry Hospital Stake at Tralee.

He clocked an impressive 28.28sec in the final and can soon have matters in hand.

Star Ace, who clocked the fastest time of the year last week with 28.70sec, is strongly fancied to land heat four from an ideal trap one pitch.

2013 winner Kilgraney Tomson may have to play second fiddle to Murt Leahy’s well-drawn 28.29sec Cork winner Lemon Miley in heat five.

Leahy can have a double with Lemon Legrand, who has been running well at Kilkenny, in the second qualifier.

Listen Bruno, an October 13 whelp, can carry the red jacket to victory in the opening qualifier, while Pat Buckley’s Mallory, a 28.64sec Clonmel winner looks the answer to heat seven.
