The 75th Bresbet East Anglian Derby was oversubscribed by 20 entries with departing racing manager Marcus Westgate saying, “it is the best entry we’ve had for several years.”
Defending champ Kilara Lion heads a strong entry for Champion Trainer Patrick Janssens who is also represented by Cat One winner Bockos Jonjo. Liz McNair, who missed out with favourite King Elvis in the 2018 decider is back with a couple of runners including Laurels winner Havana Class.
Westgate added: “We had quite a few local entries and eight have been included in the draw. In my view they are entirely there on merit including three of Paul Burr’s who are just about ungradeable.”
