Winner of the first early morning meeting was Tommy Batchelor trainer 9/4 second favourite Manic Storm. The 17 month old competing in just her second race.
All runners arrived safely and in record time enjoying the easy traffic conditions. Track promoter Dave Barclay said: “I’m delighted with the way the first meeting has gone. The trainers and the staff have been extremely positive and supportive. The move to five meetings a week demonstrates how much the track has developed and the confidence and popularity people have in the racing we put on.”
