Pat Buckley can land a double in the Gain Select Stakes over 525 yards at Waterford on Saturday with Lenson Panda and Paradise Silva.
Lenson Panda, who ran up a nine-timer which included victory in the Texacloth Puppy Derby, was beaten in the heats last week after a missed break but can get back to his best by making all.
English Derby third Crokers Champ and Juvenile Cup runner-up Hee Haws Sheriff and 28.33sec trailer Ballybough Mike are the main threats.
The 2014 St Leger winner Paradise Silva can make instigate a double by landing the opening eliminator.
He won last week in 28.37sec and can overcome a tricky draw in trap four.
Brendan Matthews’ Derby semi-finalist Shutthe Backdoor will have support from trap one and was a finalist in Drumbo Park’s Gold Cup last week.
Crossfield Max, who caught the eye at Harolds Cross with a 28.54sec win during the Juvenile Derby, can improve for his 28.73sec heat victory.
Go Dex Go went quickest last week with 28.33sec but the railer is now draw outside in trap six.
