Doncaster are looking to appoint a fourth member of racing office staff but but are one of the few tracks who have a solid graded strength.
Track boss John Watson said: “We have Simon (Pearson) and Nathan (Sheppard) already and will be making an announcement shortly about a third member of staff who will be joining us.
“But given the workload we are looking for a fourth person and would welcome anyone with suitable experience and enthusiasm.
“As far as the kennel strength is concerned, we have two new trainers due to join us shortly; they are currently serving their notice at other tracks.
“We also have five or six other applicants, though I have had to tell them that I can’t commit to taking them all on.
“We are very lucky that we have a comparatively young training strength. I think our four biggest trainers, with probably 200 dogs between them, are in their thirties or forties. We still have quite a few older trainers, but they tend to have the smaller kennel strengths.”
