It was the worst meeting ever for the Punters Challenge. Mark Wallis (trainers) and Jason Craddock (media) crashed and burned when their two ‘all in’ punts of Coolavanny Smash and Swift Hansel were both turned over.
Jim Parker (owners) had just one winner (Shellam Delano) from his trixie so also finished tailed off. The sole pay-out came from Glenn Day (Star Sports – bookmakers) with a £70 punt on Shellam Delano. He returned at 4-6 giving Glen a £5 profit on the night.
The Guru – who was only tipping winners, not punting, picked four of the eight winners: Ginas Lad (4-1), Shellam Delano (4-6f), Precisely (2-1) and Roxholme Nidge (2-1)
