In terms of headlines, the elimination of Bubbly Bluebird was the big one – particularly since the 4-6f looked like a 1-6f after trapping clear of his field.
There also appeared to be signs of several runners continuing to learn their way around the track. It was particularly noticeable with runners – starting with Ballinakil Clare being prepared to come through on the rail off the last bend. All of which led to only race being won by further than a length.
Quickest on the clock – just 24 hours after the disqualification of Madabout Eoghan was his British bred kennelmate Carn Brea with a 29.19 (-20) run.
