Deerjet Sydney is now an 11-4 chance to defend his Greyhound Derby title and become the first hound ever to land the event on two different tracks.
The Pat Buckley trained white and brindle remains unbeaten in the event and is joined in the semi finals by Knocknaboul Syd with eight Irish runners through to the last twelve.
