Star Sports English Greyhound Derby favourite Clares Rocket has been the most volatile mover in the market so far.
The firm’s odds compiler Sam Dunn said: “We’ve been laying dogs for this since the turn of the year. We’ve laid Clares Rocket at 20-1, £3k win, we’ve seen it into 8-1 back out to 16-1 and back into 12-1. I really would like it to win before we start cutting again. Priceless Brandy to same punter £3k at 25-1. Again, that’s into 16-1 and has stayed there.
“Jaytee Jet we’re 33 from 50. £1,500 each way. Our biggest loser was Bull Run Bolt which was sadly pulled out lame. We had that for about £112,000 (without the addition of place money at 50 down to 33). There have been small bits for Bubbly Bluebird at 28-1, Pacey Bambi at 100-1, and Fweshfromthesesh at 100-1. We have tried to keep Drive on Tipp onside the whole campaign.”
“In the specials markets we have seen lumps for Tyrur Shay top Irish at 18-1. Balankil Clare and Coolavanny Pet too at 14-1 and 10-1.”
