Robert Smith’s English Derby quarter finalist Amka Rofe was just 1/2 length behind and both greyhounds go forward to next week’s final. Heat 2 saw a sensational performance from Kevin Hutton’s Boca Junior who landed his race in 29.63 with 2 lengths back to Liz McNair’s King Axle
The third qualifier saw Kevin Ferguson land a double as his Produce Stakes finalist Acomb Winston overcame early crowding to stop the clock in 3001 with 1/2 length back to Mark Wallis’s Agincourt Xena.
