Former open race star Bubbly Time has died after a short illness. The five year old had not races since April.
Champagne Club part owner Michelle Hazelle Brown said: “She was poorly thought she was on the mend then went down hill and the vet advised she be put to sleep. She had liver failure. She the best bitch I’ve ever had the privilege to be involved with she won us many races holds two track records she a true star. RIP Bubbles”
During a 51 race career, the former Tony Gifkins trained bitch won the Boxing Day Marathon and finished runner-up in the 2015 Ladbrokes Golden Jacket and TV Trophy.
