Ladbrokes Puppy Derby winner Rising Brandy continued his return to racing with a very respectable 16.44 (-15) trial for Hove’s sprint trip in the Monday morning trial session. It was his first time in the boxes following a serious shoulder injury in the English Derby semi finals.
However he wasn’t the quickest at the session. Lets Be Ready, also from the Dartnall range, recorded 16.41 (-15). The home bred dog, making his first appearance since June has a best of 16.17 (x2) over course and distance earlier in the year.
Yet another the kennel stars, ’17 Lowther Stakes runner-up Droopys Polly, clocked 16.78 on similar going.
