Generally, the Dam of Best British Bred winner tends to be the name of the most successful home bred runner, or two, that year.
In 2014 there were some options on that, most notably the Yorkshire based Hawks Dutchess who had seven different offspring from the same Windy Millar litter win 32 opens between them. At the time of writing, Dutches was a couple of winners clear of Westmead Sula, who produced a fine litter by Droopys Scolari. Shaws Dilemma is another interesting option. Not only did she throw King Kane from a litter to College Causeway, but she followed up with an exciting litter by Scolari that featured KAB Maiden Derby winner King Alley. Looking to the other main contenders we have Airforce Stacey (Salad Dodger), Little Flame (Take The Crown), Odell Faith (Swansalona Diva), Sniper Betty (Mill Jolson) and Pretty Fantasy (King Dec, King Danni, Malibu Sue, Trickyblueginger).
