Yarmouth have announced that trainer Jim Daly will be returning as a contract trainer after serving 28 day’s notice at Peterborough.
A track spokesman said: “We are pleased he’ll be rejoining our training ranks. This is a big boost for us; Jim knows the place well. He plans to bring over 35 dogs over a variety of different distances which will be a nice boost to our strength.
“The current strength to date is around the 306 mark which is a nice amount for three meetings but Jim intends on bringing 35 with the view to more as we are told he has plenty puppies in the field due to start schooling very soon. He has also informed us that he has plenty of railers which are exactly what we need as currently we are lacking railers in certain grades.
“With the impending start to our BAGS season and the three extra Friday’s meetings through December, it’s always good to have another 30 + dogs available”.
