Another hugely successful Greyhoundtrader Online Auction took place last weekend with just over £41,000 of sales.
Topping the sale was Da Bold Freddie who met his reserve of £15,000 in the closing stages. The Jul’20 of Ballymac Bolger and Ballymac Belle will head to Stuart Tighe in the North of England and will without question of doubt look to compete in all of the upcoming major competitions in the UK.
Drumcrow Miley (Droopys Sydney x Drumcrow Blossom) will be a new recruit for the famed kennels of Kevin Hutton, with the young Apr’21 bitch fetching £8900. Set for a name change to include the well-established Coppice prefix, it has been a month to remember for Roy Ruddy’s Drumcrow kennels in Northern Ireland after the £16,300 sale of her sister Drumcrow Mini at the recent Oxford track sales too.
Another eye-catching sale was the one of Ballymac Duke who sold for £9,501. The Aug’21 was one of the youngest available in the auction and despite only just being 13 months old, he already has an extremely impressive 29.25 winning trial on his card at Tralee.
All in all, the Greyhound Trader Online Auction’s are reported to be going from strength to strength with what I think to be a phenomenal amount of quality on offer each time which no-one else provides.
