Owner trainer Kevin Boon said that his Farneys Cookie would have two or three days comfort and treatment ahead of a trip to Swindon next Tuesday that will decide the next step for the winner of Sheffield’s Pinpoint Home & Healthcare Three Steps To Victory writes John Forbes.
He said: “He was fine this morning and you wouldn’t have known he was in a race, but we will give him two or three days of special treatment just to freshen him up a bit and if all goes well I will take him to Swindon next Tuesday for a trial, which is the day before the Arc entries close, and then I will make a decision about that.
“I might be being a bit overambitious as we could find ourselves in with one or two who are a bit quicker, but Farneys Cookie did well over 480 and 500 at Sheffield, is running really well at the moment, and he is giving us a lot of enjoyment.”
