Click Competitions Ltd, an on-line prize competition site, is the new sponsor of the East Anglian Derby.
Promoter Simon Franklin said: “Sponsors aren’t easy to find but Click Competitions are a hugely successful company and it is great to have them involved for the first time.”
The 77th running of the event gets underway on the first Saturday in September.

Before then, the track sees the return of the XL Windows East Anglian Challenge, worth £1,200 for two runs plus a paid entry into the East Anglian Derby. It gets underway on Saturday August 12.
Simon is hoping to continue with its Saturday night fixture in 2024 despite the addition of a new Sunday afternoon meeeting for the betting shops.
He said: “We will almost certainly not race on Saturday in January and February when the place is dead. If all goes to plan, I would like to re-open on Saturdays from March onwards.
“It won’t be on the betting service but I hope we can just break even for the sake of the regulars who want their regular night out. If the tote can cover the prize money, and the bars and catering can cover the staffing, it is something I feel we should do.
“The biggest issue may be the availability of enough dogs. We have around 270 available at the moment and a minimal number of empty traps, but we will need a few more if we are going to keep Saturdays going.”
Simon also confirmed that any seeded wide runners joining the track will have their registration and retirement bond paid by the stadium.
