HENLOW where the Masters got underway

BORNA CHEYNE clocked the fastest time in the heats of the Master over 460 metres at Henlow on Sunday.
Jim Reynolds’ runner was the only winning favourite (evens) in the four eliminators when he flew out and made all the running to beat Swift Edwards by five and a half lengths in 27.38sec (+10).
The son of Timor Blue obviously likes the track as he was the runner up in the 2014 Henlow Derby.
Simon Cull’s Corner Crash was a trap to line winner of the opening qualifier when he proved three and a half lengths too good for Sand Brier in 27.51sec.
Local runner Rhincrew Aine was a shock 8-1 winner of the second qualifier for trainer Eric Cantillon.
The Droopys Scolari bitch led from start to finish to beat Tyrur Serena by three lengths in 27.58sec.
Allen Wizard made it a 62-1 double for Cantillon in the last qualifier when leading early to hold strong kennelmate Blackrose Khan by a length in 27.63sec.
