Derby lunch
Although there are no UK trained Derby semi finalists, there are a number of connections of semi finalists who may wish to attend the Derby lunch in the Oaks Suite at Shelbourne Park on Monday.Noon start. This event has grown from strength to strength in recent years offering the connections of all six finalists an opportunity to relax and mingle in the build up to the big day.
You might want to check flight schedules (with fingers crossed). As of today (Thursday), Ryanair were still offering a number of cheap flights – eg: Luton to Dublin for £63 return (+ taxes and supplements). Finals weekend – Friday to Sunday 20th/22nd for £55 return. (+ taxes and supplements)
Saturday 14th September BoyleSports Derby Semi-Final Night:
Doors open at 5.30pm to facilitate anyone wanting to come in and watch the All Ireland Football Replay prior to racing starting.
The action in live On RTE: 60 minute programme (9pm to 10pm) with 3 live races including the two Derby semi-finals – Final draw live on RTE immediately after the second semi-final before they go off air.
