JUMEIRAH CHARLIE, who arrived at Julie Calvert’s kennel, last autumn, is beginning to look a top class prospect at Sunderland.
The September 2012 son of Tullymurry Act and Jumeirah Duchess won two of his seven starts – an A2 and an A1 – at the back of last year and he has made a flying start to 2015.
A winner in top grade on his first run of the new campaign in 27.66 for the 450 metres, he clocked the fastest of the year so far on Friday with a 27.53 (calculated 27.43) in another A1.
