Today’s Central Park meeting was abandoned today after three serious injuries were sustained in eight races.
ARC spokesman Dave Baldwin said: “We took the decision to abandon today’s fixture at Central Park due to three separate injuries during the course of racing. With welfare of our runners of paramount importance, we will be carrying out further precautionary assessments of the track, which will be fully reset and re-assessed by our Group Grounds Manager ahead of tomorrow evening’s fixture.”
