Rahyvira Castle (Ashford Castle-Rahyvira Smurf, Jun 14) might have earned the accolades after equalling the Peterborough 250m track record on Wednesday, though he was certainly not the only star of the family.
The Roger York trained runner was from the fourth different litter out of Smurf to win within a week. Rahyvira Dazl (by Razldazl George, Aug 13) landed an A4, Rahyvira River (by Kinloch Brae, Sep 12) won a Nottingham open, and the youngest of the lot, Rahyvira Bluey (by Superior Product, May 15) landed her first D1 at Fengate.
