Cape Impact made it four wins from five races in the Swindon Sprint Stakes over 285 metres on Wednesday writes Jason Craddock.
Chris Allsopp’s runner, the 4-5 favourite, was soon clear and went on to beat Angie Kibble’s Kaverna by three lengths in 16.18sec.
Kibble went on to complete a double with Droopys Gooch and Builders Fantasy.
Droopys Gooch led off the second turn in the Swindon Standard to eventually beat Glaise Mur by almost two lengths in 28.77sec.
Builders Fantasy got the better of a great battle with Fleetwood Sailor in the Maiden Stayers over 685 metres by half a length in 42.14sec.
Nottingham British Breeders Stakes winner Swansalona Diva made her 2015 debut in the Swindon 509er but she failed to catch Paul Foster’s all the way winner Swift Europe, who scored by a neck in 30.19sec.
