The Ricky Holloway trained Springbok favourite duly lived up to all his hype with a stunning 28.97 nine length victory in the first round. It also proved a good night for Barry O’Sullivan who sent out the next quickest winner Dranoel (29.37), plus the 1-2-3 in the final heat won by Mystical Charlie in 29.89. the remaining qualifier went the way of Yasoo Martin in 29.66.
