Mark Keightley was not entirely satisfied with the victory of his wife Hayley’s kennel star Roxholme Dream in the first semi-final of the PinPoint Health & Homecare Three Steps To Victory at Sheffield on Tuesday writes John Forbes.
After she had come home threequarters of a length clear of Elwick Glory he stated: “That was not a vintage run from her it was more journeyman. Let me make it clear that I don’t want to take anything away from the others in the race, they were all very good greyhounds, but I expected more of ours. I don’t believe that there is anything wrong with her, but we may have her checked out in case. We are all absolutely delighted to be in the final and are looking forward to next week.”
