Billys Bullet recorded the fastest time of the night in a solo trial at Towcester on Friday.
The Mark Wallis trained black completed what is expected to be his final four-bend outing in 28.44 for the track’s 480 metres. It was an improvement of half a length on his previous outing. Blackrose Cloud, who had won his most recent 480 open in a calculated 28.51, trialled minutes earlier in 28.64.
