Billys Bullet claimed the unofficial title of ‘No.1 Stayer In Training’ with an impressive victory over litter brother Touch Tackle at Hove.
Mark Wallis’ black was led up by Teejays Airtech but went clear soon after the winning line with a circuit to run.
Touch Tackle found himself in fifth place early and rallied on the last circuit but was still just over a length adrift of Bullet who clocked a fastest of year, 41.32 (-30) for the 695m.
Millwards Teddy, who finished second to Bullet in the 2014 Coral Puppy Trophy, finished back in fifth place.
