Bruisers Bullet headed the star studded cast at Towcester’s trial session today and lived up to his billing with a 27.92 (-10) run for the 480 metres. Although some way short of Forest Twilight’s 27.59 (+10) track record, the fastest time last year was Jovial Monk’s 27.98.
Bullet’s great rival Dorotas Wildcat was one of several stars over the 250m course which he covered in 15.15 (-05). It might only have been 15 spots short of Cloudbursting’s track record, but he wasn’t even quickest in his own kennel! That honour went to Forest Chunk with a 15.11 run on similar going. ECC Timber Puppy Derby winner Magical Bale went around in 15.19.
