Teejays Bono is likely to be one of the favourites for the €15,000 GMHD Juvenile Classic (Unraced) which gets underway at Tralee on Friday.
Pat Buckley’s June 13 son of Hondo Black clocked 28.76sec (-10) in a trial over C&D and will go as the hot favourite for heat one.
Buckley will expect to complete a double with Toem Premier in heat seven after he qualified in a faster 28.67sec at the track last week.
Paul Hennessy has an interesting prospect in Barefoot Artist in the second heat. The July 13 Droopys Scolari dog recently recorded a fast 18.75sec for 350 yards at Limerick recently.
Mustang Legacy is interesting in heat four for Sean Bourke after qualifying at Clonmel and Shelbourne Park in an identical 29.01sec.
Ollie Bray’s Knight Invader will go off at short odds in heat six after an open class 18.78sec sprint qualifying time at Shelbourne Park.
